Ⅰ.Educational Objectives
专业目标培养未科学家学生具宽广坚实物理理基础较强数学逻辑分析力动手实做力实验分析力专业课程涵盖理物理等离子体物理凝聚态材料物理光学线电物理原子核物理粒子物理等专业方学生全面解物理学发展现况前交叉学科定认识学生阶段进行前科学尖端技术科研工作坚实基础
The objective of this major is to cultivate future’s scientists We have tailored our curriculum to provide students with broad and solid foundation of theories of Physics enhanced capability of mathematical and logical analyses and good skills of handson and experiments Specific concentrations including Theroretical Physics Plasma Physics CondensedMatter & Material physics Optics Radiowave Physics Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics are built to provide students a comprehensive understanding on the state of the arts in Physics The goal is to let students have concrete background knowledge for doing research in the future whatever in frontier science or advanced technology

11 Participate in the Social Practice organized by school Submit the survey report and pass the oral defense

12 Participate in the summer camps or summer schools in physics or related field Obtain the certificate or pass the oral defense

13 Entitled as Activist by the Communist Youth League of HUST or Hubei Province Membership of the group which is entitled as Excellent Social Practice Group by the Communist Youth League of HUST or Hubei Province (1mark for the university level 2 marks for the provincial level)

Participate in the academic lectures organized by the school of physics for every 5 times and submit all the participation records Submit one final report for the most interested one among 5 lectures and obtain the approval of school
